THE AMERICAN COLONY The narrative for GANT Rugger Pre Fall 2013 is based loosely on a little known true story about a group of US army soldiers who intentionally dissapeared during the second World War while in Algeria. They sought shadowy refuge in the narrow, winding back-alleys of the Casbah in Algiers. Hidden away under rather unpatriotic circumstances, in the beginning they survived using a somewhat unsavory skill set while blending in with civilian society.
